Ashley dove

secretary

Ashley became involved with TRDMA when she moved to Fairbanks from Anchorage in the winter of 2019. Volunteering was immediately on her mind after she attended her first TRDMA-hosted race as a spectator, and as teams came in, recorded their times for fun. It was only later she realized this was something she could volunteer for! Ashley works as a full-time handler at Crooked Creek Kennel, a racing kennel based in Ester. Though she’s assisted in a variety of ways at multiple races, her favorite volunteer past time is being checkpoint manager. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her partner and their dogs, biking skiing, and eating a lot of McDonald’s.

Jeri Reid

(she/her)

Merchandise director

Jeri first became involved with TRDMA when she moved to Two Rivers in 2018. She has helped with multiple TRDMA events in the past and has handled for her husband during the Two Rivers 200 and Solstice races. This year, Jeri will be taking on the role of Merchandise director. Jeri works as a Physician Assistant at Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center as well as FMH Emergency Department. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their plethora of pups. She is slowly but surely learning the mushing ropes and appreciates exploring the trails of two rivers with her four legged kids.

Cathy turinsky

(She/her)

Volunteer coordinator

Growing up in Anchorage and volunteering for Iditarod for most of her life, it seemed like a natural thing to volunteer for TRDMA after moving to Two Rivers in 2004. Cathy loves the mushing community but doesn’t own a dog team, she has horses instead. She’s a hairdresser of 34 years by trade, but is now working for the State of Alaska. She’s married and has one grown son. She enjoys knitting, gardening, her chickens, snow machining, four wheeling, riding horses, and of course recruiting volunteers for TRDMA!
